The Telewave TPRD-1566 allowssimultaneous operation of atransmitter and receiver into acommon antenna. This pass/rejectduplexer has low insertion loss,and is ideal for systems with closefrequency separation.

The TPRD-1566 has three pass/reject cavities in both the transmitterand receiver sections. This duplexeris designed for transmitters andreceivers with frequency spacingof 300 KHz or more. Selectivity andinsertion loss may be adjusted byrotating the calibrated connectorloops.

Because of their super i o rconstruction, these Telewave 6"cavity duplexers achieve greaterrejection of transmitter noiseand spurious radiation, providingexcellent receiver protection.

Telewave duplexers have 1/4"aluminum top plates which arefully welded to the aluminum outerconductor. Silver-plated tuners,beryllium copper finger stockcontactors and threaded Invarrods assure maximum temperaturestability, higher "Q", and many yearsof trouble free operation.

All duplexers are tuned andtested with customer-specifiedfrequencies prior to shipping. Iffrequency changes are required, thepositive locking mechanism allowsfor easy field tuning by rotating thethreaded Invar rod.

The optional TBC-40 indoor cabinetcompletely encloses the duplexer,and protects it from dust, dirtand tampering. All connectionsare accessible from the top of thecabinet.

The TPRD-1546C offers highperformance in a compact designfor the 148-174 MHz VHF band.

Custom extruded 4” cavities allowhorizontal rack mounting. Threepass-reject sections in the transmitand receive paths provide 80 dBisolation at 500 KHz, with a 350watt power rating, and insertionloss of 2.5 dB or less. The duplexerfits a standard 19" rack, with rackheight of 8.75".
