Type THHN-THWN-2 building wire is intended for general purposeapplications and may be installed in conduit, duct, or otherrecognized raceways in wet (60°C oil/90°C water) or dry(105°C) locations. For both new work and rewiring applications,the smaller diameter of wire permits additional circuits or largerconductors to be installed in the conduit without exceeding maximumfill limitations. The insulation is a high quality, heat and moistureresistant polyvinyl chloride compound over which a heat and lightstabilized nylon jacket is tightly applied.

The DPS-15 power Converter/Battery Charger converts 108-132 VACvltage to 13.6 DC voltage for both DC load operation and 12 V batterycharging. As a power supply, the DPS-15 will provide up to 15 amps toequipment designed to run on 12 Volt DC systems.

As a battery charger with optional IQ4 control module, the unit willmaintain the battery, delivery its full-rated currrent when thebattery capacity falls sufficiently low. The voltage is set todeliver its maximum current for the necessary period of time tominimize stress to the battery caused by heating of its cells. Thishelps to ensure the longest possible life of the battery. Over time,as the battery nears its full capacity, the DPS-15 will automaticallydrop the current, providing a float-charge to the battery to preventself-discharge of the cells.
