A hoisting grip must be chosen before lifting cable inside of themonopole. There are two main types of industry hoisting grips forcoaxial foam cable: non-laced and laced.

The laced grip pulls the cable upward but is not designed to supportthe weight of the cable after installation. It will function assupport for the cable when a calibrated clamp is attached to thebottom of the grip's interwoven mesh.

The new SnapStak Plus adjustable cable hangers (covered by patentsand pending patent applications) are the first and only uniquelydesigned hangers with a flexible section that adjusts to the cablediameter during installation. The new design enables one hanger tosupport a range of cable sizes without the need for a grommet insert.This flexibility makes hanger installation two to three times fasterthan the hanger and grommet combination.
