Position: Warehouse -
New Jersey - Sacramento - Dallas - Atlanta - Santa Fe Springs

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for assuring that the Warehouse is cleaned on a daily basis
  • Maintain, sort, and organize merchandise so that it can be easily located in proper bin locations
  • Responsible for picking all orders that come in on a daily basis for Talley, Inc. customers
  • Assure that product that is being picked for customer orders is 100% accurate
  • Responsible for packing all orders that come in on a daily basis for Talley Inc. cu
  • Assure that product that is being packed for customer orders is 100% accurate and protected
  • Responsible for picking, packing, and loading/checking out of customer will call orders
  • Process cable cuts, lagging/boxing of reels/coils, and palletizing reels per customer requirements
  • Shipping and receiving

Knowledge, Skill, Education and Experience Required:
  • The General Warehouse Support must be able to operate a standard forklift
  • The General Warehouse Support must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • The General Warehouse Support must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
  • The General Warehouse Support must be able to work under deadline pressure as organization skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders.
  • Experience using a hand held scanner
  • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum Experience required: 1 year warehouse experience.
  • Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.
  • Customer Service skills a plus

Position: Computer Support Specialist -
Santa Fe Springs

Essential Job Functions:

  • Install, maintain and optimize all Windows, Exchange eMail, Virtual Machines and Linux servers
  • Install, maintain and optimize document printing and archiving system
  • Maintain and support company's e-commerce server; required familiararity with Apache and IIS
  • Support and maintain company's PBX systems, VoIP Technology and related protocols, including servers, appliances and gateways.
  • Support VPN/SSLVPN to allow remote access of Talley's network to the outside sales personnel.
  • Maintain backup schedule for all servers using third party software.
  • Configure, update and maintain company firewalls, routers and switches.
  • Configure and maintain wireless access points for the warehouse wireless scanners.
  • Maintain a daily log of server transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities
  • Support person to the Help Desk with managing daily tasks.
  • Assist in setting up of computer hardware, printers and ensuring proper installation of operating systems, and appropriate software
  • Assist in supporting connectivity of smartphones/tablets to interface with the Epicor Prelude server.
  • Assist in supporting users of the company ERP system
  • Assist in supporting users of the company EDI portals

Knowledge, Skill, Education and Experience Required:
  • Minimum four year college degree required in Information Technology with an emphasis on System Administration
  • Minimum Experience required: 10 Years in the Field of Information Technology
  • Experience with Windows, Exchange and VM Server administration
  • Operating Systems – Win 2003, 2008, 2012 & 2016; Linux and VM Ware
  • Competent working with LAN, WAN, related routers, switches, appliances and Wireless technology
  • UNIX and Linux system administration
  • Understanding of Help Desk ticketing system and the server
  • Understanding of Telephony: PBX & VoIP technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Dependability, works well under pressure and with all different skill levels of employees

Position: Credit Analyst -
Santa Fe Springs

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with set of customer accounts receivable
    • Contact Customers and establish updates on past due status
    • Make arrangements for payments to bring account current
    • Conduct research on PO/Invoice discrepancies and payment variances
    • Research and meet with sales to resolve customer/account disputes
    • Negotiate repayment schedules and settlements of accounts in accordance with Credit Management’s review and approval.
    • Follow up to ensure Customer’s obligation is satisfied
    • Prepare and mail out/email customer account statements (as needed)
    • Use online system to identify payments being made/approved by Customer
    • Communicate regularly with credit manager to determine course of action to provide account updates.
    • Process the daily billing for set of accounts via Customer on-line billing portal
    • Address daily issues
    • Reconcile invoices and mail corrections/amendments
    • Research and meet with sales to identify ongoing process problems and bring proposed solution to Credit Manager’s attention
    • Requires thorough follow through
  • Assist Credit Manager in collecting and resolving disputes of Key (major) Accounts.
  • Release orders within own authority.
  • Actively participate on a daily basis in credit queue (telephone).
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal departments.
  • Maintain contact with appropriate departments and consult on relevant issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, attend meetings, program and training sessions as required.
Knowledge, Skill, Education and Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Major Account commercial collections experience, accounts receivable / collections experience for a corporation of comparable annual revenue and complexities.
  • Knowledge of Billing portals such as, Ariba, Taulia, iSupplier, or similar is a plus
  • Ability to act in a professional manner, and possesses the ability to work with customers in tenuous situations.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and multitask in a fast paced environment with the proven ability to collaborate effectively across functional business organizations.
  • Post secondary business education preferred; high school diploma required
  • Intermediate to Excellent skills understanding commercial credit and collections
  • Excellent Oral and Written communication skills – the individual communicates (written and verbal) with Customers and Talley Employees in a manner that is both clearly understandable and presented professionally.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet
  • Problem Solving – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Customer Service – the individual manages difficult person-to-person situations, responds promptly to requests, solicits feedback to improve service, responds to request for service and assistance and meets commitments.
