Warehouse Lead

Location:Woodridge, IL

Job Summary: Join our team as an experienced Warehouse Lead and play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. Assist the leadership team with driving a positive work environment, as you lead by example.

Oversees Daily Warehouse Operations, directs staff, manages training, monitors’ performance and works for improvement. Interfaces with management and quality manager to ensure processes and procedures are being followed, goals and objectives are being met and customers being supported. Assists on an as needed basis in general warehouse roles including cable processing, order picking, order packing, small parcel shipping, truck shipping, receiving, put away, and cycle counting.

• Ensures operation is both neat and orderly and that regular housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensures equipment maintenance checks are performed weekly and notifies upper management of any repairs that are needed.
• Conducts monthly safety meetings and promotes the company’s policy of an injury-free work environment.
• Opens or closes the warehouse daily depending on the work schedule.
• Works with Sales staff’s special customer requests.
• Manages priorities and resolves issues.

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience leading and or supervising employees.
• Working knowledge of, and an ability to operate, warehouse equipment including forklift, re-roll equipment, and office equipment including personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong people skills, goal orientated, superior time management, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to direct staff and work cohesively with peers.
• Ability to present and live by the Talley Goal of making Talley the Premier Distributor in the Wireless Communications Industry.

Cable Processor

Location:Olathe, KS

Job Summary: We have a great opportunity to join our team! We are seeking a Cable Processor to assist with preparing the customers’ orders. The Cable Processor position is responsible for processing and boxing cable cuts, lagging reels, and palletizing reels.

• Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Keep the outside yard clean and organized.
• Manage reels to be sure they are orderly.
• Additional Job duties can be added at anytime.

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience required: 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and write in English, and understand Basic Math
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and reach overhead.
