Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Gold River, CA
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 annually
Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager will ensure that high-quality service value is provided to our customers thru the efficient processing and timely delivery of the merchandise they have purchased. This resource will provide effective oversight, direction, supervision, training and continuous motivation to the warehouse operations staff to achieve that goal. Provide exceptional internal and external customer service and help resolve work-related matters. Follow Timecard and payroll Management responsibilities and ensure staff adherence to Company’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a positive work environment based on team dynamics, mutual respect and adherence to the organization’s stated principles and values.
- Oversee the daily warehouse production outputs.
- Provide strategic direction to staff to ensure customer expectations are achieved.
- Coordinate staff training, monitor direct-report job performance, conduct JPE’s.
- Assures that all established SOP’s are instituted and maintained, goals and objectives are met and customer concerns are addressed.
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all core warehouse functions.
- Receiving, put away, cycle counting, cable processing, kit building, order picking, order packing, small parcel shipping, truck shipping.
- Ensure warehouse team is motivated and productive.
- Monitor, authorize and report overtime for all staff in the facility, containing those expenditures to the extent possible without sacrificing quality or impacting key deliverables.
- Implement and administer regular housekeeping responsibilities throughout the production facility to ensure a professional appearance is maintained as a standard activity.
- Manage priorities and resolve issues.
- Lead by example, ensure the work environment is inviting and the team is motivated.
- Ensure employees are well aware and understand Talley’s Mission, Shared Values, the Big Goal, and policies and procedures.
- Assist in identifying and securing new talent (direct hire and contract) based on Talley’s Culture, Mission, Shared Values, and the Big Goal — Interviews, facilitate departmental new hire orientation, on-the-job training, mentoring, performance reviews, coaching & counseling.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings and dismissal processes.
- Coordinate with Human Resources employee training, TalleyTrak, performance reviews, and compliance-driven training.
- Report any work-related safety concerns or equipment malfunction to senior management.
- Initial process and reporting of work-related injuries.
- Participate weekly in Company Big Goal meetings.
- Review, and update job descriptions.
- Attend management training provided by HR.
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.
- Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
- Display Talley’s Mission, Shared Principles, and the Big Goal in all employee interactions.

Contract Labor:
- Responsible for management of weekly timecards of contract staff, providing their timecard weekly to HR Assistant.
- Communication to HR with any concerns related to contract employees.
Requirements:
- An associate degree or some completed course work from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred; and one to two years related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- This position requires a working knowledge of, and an ability to operate, warehouse equipment including forklift, re-roll equipment, and office equipment including personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- This position requires; people skills, a strong goal orientation, superior time management skills and work ethic, and an ability to direct staff and work cohesively across all levels of the organization.
- Post-secondary business education preferred; high school diploma required.
- Intermediate to Excellent skills understanding commercial credit and collections.
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Internet.
- Problem Solver – superior Customer Service – Adaptable and Dependable.
- Superior Time Management skills.
- Distribution or Manufacturing experience - preferred

Position: General Warehouse Support II
Location:Auburn, WA
Job Summary:The General Warehouse Support II position is responsible for all duties listed in the General Warehouse Support I job description and includes receiving and put away, small parcel shipping, will call administrative support duties, prioritization of cable cutting, and scrap cable management.
Responsibilities:
- Unloads inbound shipments, checks inbound materials in, receives material into the prelude system, labels, and puts away materials with a barcode scanner.
- Prioritizes the cable cut planning and processing.
- Manages the reporting of scrap cable.
- Identifies small parcel, full truckload, less than truckload, heavy weight air, will call/customer pickup orders and routes them to the appropriate shipping area.
- Processes packages via the small parcel shipping terminal
- Sets pickup appointments, loads orders, obtains signatures, and confirms will call orders.
- Loads small parcel and truck shipments.
- Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company.
- Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
- Clock in/out accurately and take rest and meal breaks as required per Company policy.
- Work overtime as required based on business needs.
- Display Talley’s Mission, Shared Principles, and the Big Goal in all employee interactions.

Requirements:
- Must be able to operate a standard forklift.
- Must to be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead.
- Able to work under deadline pressure as organization skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders.
- Experience using a handheld scanner.
- Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Experience required: 1 year warehouse experience.
- Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.
- Customer Service skills required.
- Must be able to present and live by the Talley Goal of making Talley the Premier Distributor in the Wireless Communications Industry.
