The SRW18US SmartRack 18U Low-Profile Switch-Depth Wall-Mount RackEnclosure Cabinet is designed to house EIA-standard 19-inch rackequipment in network wiring closets, retail locations, classrooms,back offices and other areas with limited floor space where you needequipment to be secure, organized and out of the way. Constructedfrom heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish, thecabinet has a maximum load capacity of 250 pounds.

The cabinet swings away from the wall on a sturdy hinge, allowingeasy back-door access to equipment and cabling during installationand maintenance. The doors and side panels lock securely to helpprevent damage, tampering or theft. The front, top, bottom andremovable side panels are vented, which allows air to flow freely andkeep equipment cool. The reversible doors can open left or right byrotating the cabinet 180° before mounting. Convenient top and bottom ports allow easy cable routing.

The SRW18US comes fully assembled and ready to mount to the wall,or use Tripp Lite’s optional SRCASTER rolling caster kit to make it amobile rack. Square and 12-24 threaded mounting holes and numberedrack spaces make equipment installation easy. The vertical mountingrails adjust in 7/8-inch increments to accommodate equipment up to20.5 inches deep, such as network switches and patch panels.

The ULTRABLOK features two NEMA 5-15R outlets, perfect for yourflat-panel HDTV and Blu-ray™player or a pair of computer peripherals, such as a printer and arouter. This unit’s unique protectionsystem prevents disruptive line noise from causing A/V distortion,computer lock-ups, data errors andsimilar problems. Large toroidal chokes, ferrite rod-core inductors,HF/VHF capacitors and multiple layersof metal oxide varistors remove EMI/RFI interference and preventsystem crashes, reboots andperformance problems.

Because residential power outlets have three wires—hot line (H),neutral (N) and ground (G)—theULTRABLOK protects all three, covering two protection modes: fullnormal mode (H-N) and commonmode (N-G/H-G).

An integrated 15A circuit breaker protects all outlets and shutsdown connected equipment in the event ofan overload. Diagnostic LEDs show power, protection and line faultstatus at a glance. The ULTRABLOKplugs directly into any standard NEMA 5-15R outlet. Optional mountinghardware is included forpermanent attachment to the outlet cover, which will prevent theULTRABLOK from coming looseaccidentally.
