The HP Series parabolic antenna incorporates a cylindrical shield attached to the reflector rim to improve the radiation pattern performance. HP Series antennas include a low-VSWR feed, gray solid one-piece reflector and shield with RF absorber, a planar radome and a mount for attachment to a vertical pipe. The RF absorbing material is placed at critical locations inside the shield to reduce RF energy reflections. HP antennas are single polarized, either horizontal or vertical, depending on assembly configuration. This series of antennas provides excellent radiation characteristics, rugged construction and high environmental survivability. HP Series antennas feature high performance at low lifetime cost.
